The meeting will take place at FORTH premises (https://www.forth.gr/en/content/How-to-find-us.102/). It is a 15-20 minute drive from the center of Heraklion. The Foundation for Research & Technology-Hellas (FORTH) is located at Voutes, seven kilometers southwest of Heraklion, next to the University campus and University Hospital.

Location / Access

FORTH can be reached from downtown Heraklion in ~20min by taxi (typical fare ~15Euros) or by regular public bus. Buses (25-30 min) run very frequently because it is the same line that goes to PA.G.N.I (ΠΑ.Γ.Ν.Η), which is one of the two main hospitals in Heraklion (University hospital).

Itinerary to ITE is number 11 (and 8)

Number 11 is the one going to the main hospital. At certain times, it goes all the way to ITE (inside the campus, number 8). But most of the time it stops at a bus stop 3 min walking distance from the ITE campus entrance. 

Tickets: Price (B zone) is 1.80€ if you buy the ticket outside the bus (kiosk or vending machines) and 2.80 € if you buy it inside the bus.
